uTorrent 1.7 Finally Released In Stable Form

First official stable release of uTorrent client after it got sold to BitTorrent is here. uTorrent 1.7 is out after spending several months under constant development and bug tracking. uTorrent fans need not worry about there favorite client as the new version is just an update of the older one with some enhanced features. Plus this one is fully vista compatible.

Do have a look at our famous article “Optimizing uTorrent’s Settings For Enhanced Performance.

Few of the new features in uTorrent 1.7 are:

  • Full Vista support!
  • Local peer discovery: Find local peers on your own network
  • Option to update to beta versions of uTorrent
  • Fixes and numerous enhancements
  • And a lot more…

Something very new to this version is that you are not required to make separate downloads for installer and standalone application. With one (very small) .exe file you can either use it as standalone application or install it into your windows system. Cool hmm!
