Optimized Wikipedia On Your iPod
iPodia is a Wikipedia viewer for your iPod touch. With this application, you can view articles in an optimized layout, find certain text in the article, and save the article as a data URL for offline reading.
Articles will be shown scaled to 50%. This will make the fonts a bit blurry, but keeping the pictures small and being able to zoom into them when you need to is very useful. It lets you see more text and the layout becomes much more natural.
Wikipedia articles tend to be very long and sometimes it’s hard to find the information you are looking for. But with iPodia’s built-in find text feature, you can get to the interesting part in a flash. The matches get highlighted in yellow and we will scroll right to your next match.
Although I haven’t tested this online application on iPod as I do not owe one, but with this application being linked from lifehacker and micro persuasion you can be rest assured that it is worth the use.
