Change The Icon’s Size In Windows XP/Vista

Is small size enough for your Windows icons? Than change the default size. After all the OS is yours, so it should look the way you want you be.

For Windows Vista:

  • Method 1: Hold the Ctrl key and and scroll your mouse wheel forward to enlarge the icons and backward to shrink them.
  • Method 2: Right-click on the desktop and select view. Now select small medium or large icons.
  • Method 3: (Recommended for better choices) Right-click on desktop and select Personalization. Click “Open classic appearance properties for more color options”, click the Advanced button, choose Icon from the drop-down list, use the Size control to change the size. Keep clicking OK until changes take effect.

For Windows XP:

Right-click on desktop and choose Properties. Click Appearance tab and then click Advanced button. Choose Icon from drop-down list and use Size control to change the size of icons. Keep clicking OK until changes take effect.
