Pick Your Custom Favicon For Your Bookmarks

Google adsense, Google blog search or any other Google service has the same standard Google favicon and when you open all these websites in one firefox window using many tabs than sometimes it could be a good idea to use different favicon for each service.

There is a very cool firefox extension available for this purpose. Favicon picker adds a interface allowing you to pick the icon for each of your bookmarks. The process is very simple.

After installing the extension in your firefox window go to tools > Add-ons and in the add-ons window scroll down and select Favicon Picker and click Options button. Its time to search for the bookmark whose favicon you want to change.

Select the way by which you want to search your bookmarks and click next. Next you need to enter the keyword/URL to proceed with the search. Click next.

Now you will see a list of bookmarks. Select the one you were looking for and again click next.

You will now see two options. Choose remove favicon if you want to remove the favicon for that URL else choose replace favicon to replace it with any other image!

Now spend some time and start arranging you bookmarks with your favorite favicons for better interactivity.
