Google Generation Isn’t That Smart
A new study conducted by British Library and the Joint Informations Systems Committee dispels the myth that those born after 1993 are more smarter when it comes to showing of their tech skills.
As per the log analysis from British Library Websites and search tools, the committee studies the books rented out by kids based on search engines as their referring links. The study says that this new generation isn’t anything more special than those in the last 30 years. However, as expected it does leave some points worth noting.
The study points out that since Google and Wikipedia are the primary sources of knowledge so there isn’t any real expert these days. The best knowledge is available in online communities (aka forums.) The study also points out that although the new generation gives preference to images over text still images can loose their appeal very quickly but text won’t. Plus this new gen is always multitasking all the time.
Do have a look at the study to learn some vital points about us, the new gen.
