Adobe Photoshop Goes Online

It has been more then a year when Adobe announced the plans to launch the online version of Photoshop and they have finally done it. Adobe Photoshop Express is basically an online image editing tool as many of the features of original photoshop are missing from the online version, which is still in beta.

The service is free for now and they have been no announcements if they will charge something in future. It is expected that adobe will add many more features of original photoshop in its online version.

I guess they can use the online version as the launching pad for customers to buy the original photoshop. Till then enjoy the free features.

I still prefer Picnik for editing my images online.

I have tried this much hyped feature of Adobe but did not find it interesting. Though there are ample tools for editing a photo…the responsiveness is very slow. I guess the culprit is AJAX. I better stick to my favorite Picasa.
