Some 9 years back my dad bought me a 386 system which required a floppy to help it come in running state. No windows and no GUI and after all these disadvantages once I used to play those DOS games (like dave) then it felt like heaven. But don’t you all think we have forgotten those DOS games since the advent of our high end gaming systems.

Few of my friends still prefer playing those games but it isn’t that easy to handle the autoexec.bat files these day with GUI being the de-facto of every system.

Good news for all the DOS lovers. DOSBox for Windows, Mac, Linux etc. is a great app which supports around 3000 DOS games. It recreates those sounds and graphics setup and lets you setup your own processor speed so that you face least problems. So let us all revert back to history and pay standing ovation to the roots of todays games, the DOS games.
