Firefox Tip: Speed Dial Your Favorite Website


Opera has a speed dial feature using which you can access your favorite website with just a single mouse click. Although firefox won’t let you do that by default but their are plenty of firefox extensions to help you out. The most used extension to add the speed dial feature to firefox is Speed Dial itself.

Once installed, every new tab which you open will look like what you see in the image above. I have edited the nine speed dial options and added my favorite websites to them. Once you install the extension then you get two buttons in the toolbar (see the red arrow in imagea above?) using which you can access your speed dial websites or set some website to speed dial using. When you click on ’set speed dial’ button then you get an edit window like the one shown below.
