Free Up All Processor Usage For Your Games With A Double Click

You have a old computer but you have the craze of playing high end games and using various 3D type applications? If yes then you need to control how the processor usage is divided between different kinds applications.

As you can see in the image above, you need to create a shortcut for “Rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks” (without quotes of course). Right click on your desktop or where you want to create the shortcut, Select New and then Select Shortcut from the sub menu. A dialog box similar to one shown above will pop-up and you need to enter Rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks in the location field.

Hit next and then click on finish if you think the name provided if fine enough for you to recognize the shortcut.

Now, before you are about to run any application which is highly resource intensive then firstly you need to double click on this shortcut. After double clicking on this shortcut then start that application and 100% processor usage will be given to that application. This way no other idle process will eat up processor cycles and your application will run smoothly. Chances of the high end application getting hanged reduces.
