Mobile With Remote For Your Computer Using Mobile Witch Software
Ever wondered about the idea of using your mobile phone as a remote control for your computer? Well, mobile witch software has added another innovation to mobile and remote computing niche by developing a software that converted your mobile phone into a remote control using which you can control literally every aspect of your computer from a distance.
This can come in very handy during various power point presentations as you won’t have to move between your computer and the screen so as to move ahead with the presentation. On the other hand you can also explore the contents of your computer or control the mouse pointer using the mobile witch software. You can alter the volume of your computer, control various browsers, Run commands on the fly, and even text message to your computer.
To start using mobile with remote control you will require a mobile with bluetooth and a computer which has bluetooth feature inbuilt. Then you will have to download a client and a server application from mobilewitch.com. The client will be installed in your mobile while the server goes into the computer which you need to control.

Once you are done with the installation then you need to follow the steps below:
STEP 1:
Start the PC Server Application. You will see something similar to what is shown in screenshot below:
STEP 2:
Now start the client which is installed in your mobile. If you are using a NOKIA phone then you will find the application under Menu > Applications > Collection. The application will automatically start searching for various servers around.
Once the connection is successfully established then you will be able to access the Mobile Witch Bluetooth remote control menu from your phone.
From this menu you can control keyboard, mouse pointer, and the applications namely: Windows Explorer, Media Player, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Powerpoint and Winamp.
Note: Each application that you want to control first needs to be manually started on the computer and then it must stay on top of the desktop if you want it to be controlled from the mouse.
