[iPhone 4S Launch] Apple has just launched iPhone 4S [All features listed here]. No more iPhone 5 for you (for now at least)

Okay. This is it! After all the hoopla it is Apple iPhone 4S which has come to the surface and not the iPhone 5 as we had been guessing all the time. Lets go through some of the new updates in iPhone 4S (which looks as is when compared to its older buddy from the outside):

  • Dual Core Processor
  • Up to 2X faster CPU
  • 14.4 Mbps download speed as compared to 7.7 of iPhone 4
  • Intelligently switches between two antennas to transmit and receive.
  • Better Call Quality
  • Increased talk time hours (upto 12 hours!)
  • Upto 7X faster graphics. They just used Blade to prove it!
  • Both GSM and CDMA. Interesting!
  • 8 MP sensor for the new camera in iPhone 4S
  • CMOS backside illuminated sensor — gets 73% more light than the iPhone 4 sensor, and 1/3rd faster.
  • Amazing lens. Wide f2.4! Whoa!!!
  • Backside illumination
  • 73% more light
  • 60% more pixels when compared to iPhone 4
  • 26% better Auto White Balance
  • A mere 1.1 seconds for the first picture, and a half-second for the second. That is kick-ass camera. Bionic takes 3.7 seconds for the first picture, 2 for the Galaxy S II, Sensation 2.1
  • 1080p video. WOW!
  • real-time video image stabilization (yes!), real-time temporal noise reduction.
  • You can also take macro photos.
  • AirPlay Mirroring is now happening, meaning you can get your gaming on the big(ger) screen.
  • Voice Assistant!
