About

About Salman Siddiqui (author)

Salman Siddiqui is a critic, alpha geek and technology analyst (No, he does not know what 90% files in the system32 folder do but he very well knows how a newbie feels when he uses the computer and the Internet for the first time). He is addicted to computers totally and that could very well be concluded from this blog which he runs after university hours.

He is currently into his last year of Computer Engineering curriculum and already has been placed in Accenture and will be joining the company in June 2008 most probably.

Amidst all the hurdles which he has to face for his blogging, due to his packed schedule from morning 7 am to night 9 pm, Salman has been working hard into his blog CompuWorld and plans to become a full time blogger at some stage of his life.

Salman believes in three magical words which have always given him what he wanted:

  • Lots of HARDWORK
  • Little PATIENCE
  • GOODNESS to all

About Rameez Rizvi (co-author and think tank)

Rameez, the irregular contributor to the blog’s archives handles the online marketing stuffs related with the website to its heights and is the true backbone of the blog. He also completes his engineering this year in May and will be pursuing his M.S. from USA.

U.S.A will be lucky to have him in the similar fashion as this blog is lucky to have him.

Zafar Idrisi (co-author and think tank)

Zafar is die hard fan of tennis sensation Sania Mirza. Reading and cricket are his passions.

Once again NOT a regular contributor to the blog’s archives, Zafar pairs up with Rameez to form the ultimate think tank which will be the reason of this blog’s success very soon.

He too complete’s his engineering this May and as expected is still confused as to what he will be doing after that. Till he figures out what to do after engg. we will let him work full time on this blog after he finishes his engineering.

THE TRIO - THE REASON - THE ESSENCE

About CompuWorld
While Salman was in his 11th grade the name CompuWorld struck his mind just from nowhere. Those were the days when the virus of computer was spreading over his brain. Since then he dreamt of making CompuWorld a reality but never expected that the start might be in form of a blog.

He started blogging in Google blogger officially on January 1, 2007. Then after lots of studies and reading many reviews he finally migrated his blog to self hosted wordpress account in the last week of August 2007.

CompuWorld has been evolving as a blog since its start and has received lots of appreciation from its readers. As of the author:

CompuWorld wont stop even when the readers stop coming. Good content will of course bring in the readers sooner or later.

About the Punch Line (The Genius Inside You Is Still Sleeping)
After Salman had the name of his dream company in his brain he wanted a punch line. For that he pondered a lot into the stuff around him. It was after lot of hard work when he was hit with the currently being used line which he derived from his 10th grade report card where the teacher had written a remark “A genius student who is still sleeping!”

About the Domain www.NOFULLSTOP.com
After Salman had around 6 months of blogging experience in Google blogger, like it happens with other bloggers, he also knew that he will have to migrate to wordpress. For that he pondered into many domains names along with his few very close friends.

It was after the rejection of around 100 domain names that one day while taking a shower he was telling himself “do not stop in any case dude”. And bingo! www.NOFULLSTOP.com was given birth after few corrections by his close blog-watchers.
