What I received in return was the typical ‘techy kinda reply’. Lame games is what he said (bloody linux penguin!!). Though I did grumble on him for some time yet later on I had to work hard to search for the best linux games that will actually give you the feel of extreme linux gaming. After all I am a blogger and I have to live up to everyone’s expectations. I do the hard work, compile the article and these so-called geniuses won’t even leave a comment of appreciation once they benefit from the article! Enough of the frustration, let’s us talk about the best linux games that will actually make your system feel extra happening.

Urban Terror

Urban Terror is totally free and one of the best linux game that you might ever get to see. It is based on the concept of Quake 3 (and most of the other similar rps games). The interface has been designed with the notion ‘ultra simplicity’ being kept in mind very seriously. Looks like they knew that linux should never ever have the ultimate games that we most of the time see (kidding ;) ).

It is an awesome 3D game built on quake engine which is available for most of the platforms.
