Everyone has the habit of choosing to save user name and passwords for various websites while Internet surfing. Although in Internet Explorer some particular password cannot be read once saved (although you can delete it,) firefox has the option to show your passwords in case you forget them
In tool menu click options and then select security as show in above window. Click the Show Passwords button. This will show a small window which will show the passwords with respect to various username and website when you once again click the Show Passwords button.
Remember to do this when no one is around.

Windows offers you the option to encrypt files in other drives and many people prefer encrypting their files for security reasons. This option should be the preferred one for all computer users but they should also know about the downside of encrypting files.
Once you reformat your system, install fresh Windows then the files which you encrypted using the Windows installed before reformatting won’t work with the freshly installed windows. Yes, the files encrypted with one OS won’t work with other installations of the same operating system.
So next time before you re-install windows remember to decrypt the encrypted files else no decryption algorithm will be able to help you.

Don’t tell me that you do not use a firewall! Please start using one. I agree that hackers might find it easy to break through firewalls but at least the firewalls provide them with one more wall to break before they enter your system. And who knows if the quality of that (free) firewall saves you from many dangers. Yes, you read that right. FREE firewalls and that too safe.
There are many companies who create firewalls and charge money for that but there are many generous ones which charge none for the applications use. They are FREE, they are secure, they do provide quality fight for there paid counterparts and few are even Microsoft Vista compatible!
