XSticky is a one happening Firefox add-on that helps you add a sticky note for windows to any part of the webpage. Once you later visit that page then you will find the same sticky note on the same position henceforth it will help you remember whatever had struck you the last time when you had visited the same page. In case you are using Google’s Chrome then you can you this extension to add sticky notes from within the browser but you won’t be able to add sticky notes onto a webpage. The sticky node will be added on the browser level and it will be the same for any webpage that you will open. All you need to do after installing this freeware extension is to toggle CookiePie for a tab on which you want to open new instance of Gmail or any other mail. A small cookie sign will show up on that tab and then you are all set to open another instance of your gmail account or any other account in firefox without any problems.

I guess, this is by the easiest way to open multiple instances of any account like facebook etc. at a time as per our comfort without troubling firefox.

This firefox extension is a must download for you if you don’t have the habit of watching the URL before clicking any link on the webpage. There are chances when you will be redirected to the yahoo mail login page which will look exactly like yahoo mail login page but originally it would be hosted on some other domain. This is done to gain access to your id and password. The best way to avoid this is to watch the domain carefully everytime before you click any link on that page.

Like, in the image above, if I use the Upptiy button then I can navigate from the gmail tricks category of my blog to its parent category google tricks or the one level up, the tips tricks and hacks category else you can also navigate to the home page too! All this at the ease of just one mouse click.

You might have faced situations where you clicked on some link which was covered with a Tiny URL and it took you to some website which delivered unwanted virus to your computer. In a nutshell, the covered link took you to a fishing site. To avoid this it is recommended that you check where the Tiny URL link takes you and then take the step two.

For those not using firefox, check the Long URL home page and you will know what you have to do so as to know the Long URL of the shorter version. And those who use firefox can install LongURL Mobile Expander plugin and when you will hover over the Tiny URL then it will display the longer version as shown in the image above.

Once installed, every new tab which you open will look like what you see in the image above. I have edited the nine speed dial options and added my favorite websites to them. Once you install the extension then you get two buttons in the toolbar (see the red arrow in imagea above?) using which you can access your speed dial websites or set some website to speed dial using. When you click on ‘set speed dial’ button then you get an edit window like the one shown below.
